A closer look at the technical advantages of our pixel light range, from double encapsulation to DMX512 scene control.
The LED pixel light range is one of our longest-running product families and has been refined repeatedly around real installation problems rather than laboratory specifications.
The first advantage is structural: double encapsulation. Rather than relying on a single gasket, the LED and drive circuit sit inside a sealed encapsulation that keeps water out even in long-term outdoor exposure, which is what allows the IP68 rating on the range.
The second is optical consistency. Uniform brightness and tight colour tolerance across a run are what separate a professional facade from a homemade one, and they are achieved through LED binning and a stable optical design rather than through brighter chips.
The third is control flexibility. Individual pixel addressing over SPI, DMX512 or Art-Net means the same fixture package can run a static architectural wash, a dynamic colour sequence or a scheduled seasonal show, and can be re-programmed later without touching the hardware.
Finally, the range is built for serviceability and specification flexibility: quick-connect waterproof cabling to speed up installation, and options on housing colour, beam angle and cable length for OEM and ODM projects. Rated lifespan is above 50,000 hours with a three-year warranty.
