A ring of light around the base of the tree — and the whole canopy comes alive in colour.
Most tree lighting is a single fixture throwing a beam at a trunk. This is a different approach: a ring of modular LED segments that sits on the ground around the base of the tree and washes the whole canopy upward in colour. The tree becomes a glowing volume rather than a few branches catching light.
The ring is assembled from arc-shaped segments. Each segment carries its own row of lenses, and the segments clip together into a continuous circle — so the fixture follows the trunk without needing mitred corners. Because the circle is made from discrete parts, the same product covers every tree size: add segments for a large specimen, use fewer for a young one, or split the ring and use the halves for a planting bed.
Each segment stands on its own feet, and the fitting is fixed with a ground spike. That means it is pushed into soil or turf and held in place — no concrete, no chasing, no specialist groundworks. The ring is also lifted slightly clear of the ground surface, so the upward light reaches the trunk instead of being blocked by paving or soil.
DMX512 daisy-chained control runs through the connectors on the back of each segment, so a whole ring — or several rings across a site — is driven from one controller. The same fixture covers blue, cyan, green, magenta and red from a single programme, which is what makes it practical for landscape lighting that has to work for daytime events, evening functions and festival scenes without changing hardware.
Parks and public planting, villa and hotel gardens, resort and waterfront landscape, riverside promenades, cultural tourism districts and any planting where the brief is to reveal the landscape rather than floodlight the ground. Where a client wants a consistent colour story across a site, several rings can be programmed as one scene.
